Fashion meets Music

The show featured young and relatively new fashion designers like O’milua Clothings, Jewelry House and Laj Clothing and musicians such as the Engager, Simi , Isaac of project fame4.

The spectacular fashion show which was organized by Map Media consults to help raise awareness and also promote and celebrate young, talented designers and musicians to the general public in a way that’s so familiar with the Nigerian audience. “Music and Fashion”

The event kicked off at 6 PM and saw in attendance the creme de la creme  and power pushers of the Nigerian music and fashion  industry of Lagos elite society, who came to witness these budding, creative and superbly talented designers and musicians.

Omiluwa, Dadu-Bajo, Sybil, The Engager, large designs, Isaac project fame4,ODC thrilled with their style, rhymes and sound that gave the audience a good feeling.

The event kick started with a funky red-carpet welcoming the guests to the beauty and splendor of the venue overlooking the waters. On deck to welcome guests were beautiful models clad in eye-popping attires. Backdrops and banners  of sponsors and partners strategically placed all around the nicely dressed venue.

The runway show began with Adejumoke Omilua the creative director for O'milua couture who revealed to the audience her sassy yet stylish creative side. Sybil accessories showcased thereafter bringing to view  some of its most eclectic pieces.

One of the highlights of the event was the soul touching and romantic stage act performance by The Engager who invited a couple on stage and sang while the boyfriend proposed to his all shy and overwhelmed girlfriend. Everyone cheered to this scene with as much enthusiasm as they did to the comedy of young and talented comedian known as Ebiye.

The event was a real definition of success, and according to the head of MAP media, It’s a show that has come to stay and plans are even underway to make the occasion a quarterly or at most twice in a year type of event so as to be in line in reaching out to the public and feeding them with the dynamism and energy of the young Nigerian entrepreneur and of course still keep them entertained, like the satisfied guests that graced the fashion and music show.
